Pair of vintage, collectible Chinese Republic hand carved Boxwood Children Figurines - Girl holding fruit & boy holding basket of fruit. They represent the youth of the Cultural Revolution Era (1966-1976), the era of social & political upheaval in China. Both are in great condition, very detailed. No chips, cracks, scratches or breaks. There is some fading of the varnish on the little boy (please see photos). Each measures approximately 4.5” tall.
