Vintage Wayne Husted Blenko Art Glass. Charcoal Gray Ribbed Urn/Vase

Wayne Husted for Blenko Art Glass 1950's Rare Inner Optical Patterned Large Urn Vase. Wayne Husted created this wonderful vase for the Blenko Art Glass Company in the 1950's. Husted work is well known in the art glass world. This is an example of his fine work. This vase is hard to come by today. The design is a mid-century modern one. The glass has an inner optical pattern in a deep charcoal gray color, separated by a thin clear glass disk between the the bottom and top. It's beautiful! It has never had flowers or water in it except to clean it from time to time. It is 10 1/2" tall and measures 5 1/4" across the center of the top.
