This set of six books looks regal on a bookshelf; but even better, the stories are fantastic! Explore European history with author Edward Bulwer Lytton and illustrator E. Pollak. This set includes two volumes each on Harold, the Last of the Saxon Kings and The Last of the Barons. Single volumes of The Last Days of Pompeii and Reinzi, the Last of the Roman Tribunes round out this set. Books are in very good shape for their age with only minor detaching from the front cover of The Last of the Barons. Price firm. I usually negotiate but this set in this condition is really special.
