Clean lint accumulated in the vent pipe.Step 3 SET UP:Place the flat part of the elbow against the wall, align the holes and insert the 1/2” of the old vent pipe into the elbow.Mount the vent in a vertical position as in the picture below. Secure the 6 screws (included).To make sure the fit airtight enough, caulk with a bead of silicone around the square flanges.
