Ornate jewelry egg

It’s very pretty and very well made. It used to have a mechanism that held it shut. That’s the only missing piece on this item. A crafty person or a professional jeweler could fix it in a minute and with parts that cost a couple bucks. It’s a great Easter basket gift for a loved one. Maybe even with a ring or necklace inside of it. A great deal for what you get. This piece is vintage and ornate and in excellent condition. Not to mention very well built. And heavy. And the inside looks like something valuable as well. Like it’s lined with ivory or pearl. Very nice.
