This unit is functioning normally, however, recently there have been occasional instances (not every time) where the selector switches unexpectedly for a brief moment.
There is no noise.
The ONKYO remote control RC-613S is included (batteries will be removed before shipping).
It produces a very good sound, and I have been very satisfied using it mainly for classical music.
