The Juice Goose CQ-1 Single Sequenced 15 AMP Power Distribution Module with Remote Control Capability extends the CQ product series with an in-wall design, offering the same plug-and-play simplicity as other CQ models. It can be installed in a three-gang box, featuring a fifteen amp duplex that activates with a single sequence event. While a utility box comes with the unit, a standard three-gang enclosure also works. Like its counterparts, the CQ-1 includes a sequence signal line Input and Output port for daisy-chaining with other CQ devices.

Application Example
In AV setups, the CQ-1 allows for system designs without rack-mounted equipment, controlled conveniently by a wall-mounted key switch. For instance, a sound system with mobile FOH installation and powered speakers can be managed using one CQ-1 module for the mix location and two additional modules for the powered speaker clusters.

The CQ-1 comprises a front plate, duplex receptacle (NEMA 5-15R), and power control circuitry housed in a metal enclosure that fits into a standard two-gang spacing. A third gang space is necessary for power line connection. The CQ-1 is shipped with a plastic, three-gang wall enclosure for easy installation, although any approved three-gang enclosure of standard size can be used as a substitute.

To set up the CQ-1, connect the main AC power and use the eight-wire RJ-45 style CQ signal cables to link the CQ-1 to other CQ Series products in any configuration. Secure the assembly into the three-gang wall box – simple and efficient!
