Here is an exquisite 1/1 ever made, example of a scavo (excavated), bactrian camel by Ermanno Nason for Cenedese Vetri Co. Handmade on the island of Murano, Italy between 1963- 1972. This piece is unmarked and has no damage and is guaranteed to be a Murano art piece. Close approximate measurements are: 7 1/4” L. X 5 1/2” W. X 2 3/4” D.. Weighs 2.9 Lbs.
FYI: In 1993, a devastating fire destroyed both Ermanno Nason’s factory and many works of inestimable value and Ermanno Nason was forced to abandon the art of glassmaking. This one event caused Nason’s works to increase in value. Until his death in 2013, he devoted his time to painting.
