This inkwell is entirely hand-carved following the traditional craftsmanship processes of the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. It is assembled using the ancient method of tin soldering. The patterns on the panel are selected from famous works of literati and ink artists from ancient to modern times, which can be verified online. If you wish to have your own treasures or designs engraved on the panel, please contact us for customization. However, it will take some time, approximately 30 days.
Copper Inkwell Dimensions: Diameter 98 millimeters (3.85 inches). Overall height 31 millimeters (1.2 inches). The upper and lower borders are 2 millimeters (0.07 inches) thick. The upper panel and bottom plate are 1 millimeter (0.03 inches) thick.
Materials: The upper panel and borders are made of brass, while the bottom plate is made of purple copper.
