This working, American made radio is a rare find, especially if you're in the antique business. There were only #2000 made during 1993 as a result of a push from the host, Chuck Harder of a SW Broadcast "For the People" urging Americans to buy USA made products. This is #1267.
It does have some minor damage on the top front, right corner and some separation on the top front, left corner, along with some minor wear and tear from normal, daily use. (See pics) Although not original, it does come with a power supply that's compatible for this unit. The display does go out from time to time, but the radio works well despite whether it stays lit or not. (Probably just needs a fuse that I'm not willing to change out because I'm not well versed in this situation.) The reception appears to be in great working condition, especially when the antenna is fully extended. The reduced price is reflective of the flaws mentioned above and the after market power supply.
